Doctrinal Statement of Biblical Learning Center

We believe that the Godhead eternally exists in three persons, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit and that these three are one God.  Matthew 28:19; John 1:1

We believe that God is a Spirit.  He is creator of all and sovereign over all. He saves from sin all who come to Him through His son, Jesus Christ.  John 4:24; John 1:12

We believe that Jesus is God's Son, He is pre-existent and became incarnate. In Him, divine and human natures were united into one.  We believe He is Yeshua the Messiah spoken of in the Old Testament. We believe He was born of the virgin Mary, lived a sinless life, died on the cross for the remission of sins, rose the third day and now intercedes for us at the right hand of the Father.  We believe He will come again to complete the eternal plan of God.  John 1:1; Matthew 1:23; Colossians 2:9; John 1:14-16,45; 1 Corinthians 15:3,4; Acts 1:11

We believe the Holy Spirit is a divine person who testifies of Christ. He indwells the Christian and enables him to live a holy life.  John 14:26; John 15:26

We believe that man was created in the image of God but because of Adam's sin the entire human race is totally corrupt and condemned to death.  We believe that because of this no one can enter the kingdom of God without the remission of sins. Romans 5:12, 15-17

We believe that salvation is by faith in Jesus Christ alone, without works, solely by grace. Ephesians 2:8,9

We believe the Old Testament and the New Testament are both the inspired of Word God and are infallible and authoritative. II Timothy 3:16,17

We believe that the Church is the spiritual unity of all true believers in Christ, and that we are called to holy living.  Ephesians 1:22,23; I Peter 1:14-16

We believe in the continuity of God's covenants with the Jewish people. This includes the fulfillment of their physical  return to the Promised Land. Deuteronomy 30

We believe in the literal physical return of Jesus, the Messiah, to rule and reign on the throne of David, in Jerusalem.  Zechariah 1:1; Revelation 19 & 20
